You are not going to believe this (well, maybe you will) but I didn't when I first saw it.  There is a fantasy blog stock market!!!  No joke. It's called Blogshares.  Players start out by investing a fictional $500, and blogs are valued by incoming links.
It's a game that promotes sharing too.  Blogs can add value to other blogs by linking to them, so there is an incentive to look at and link to other blogs.  You can even buy or sell ideas, which reminds me of the sale of intellectual property rights.
