All-Star weekend was capped off last night with the main event, East vs West. I have to admit, when the four Piston players entered the game at the end of the 1st quarter, I wasn't sure if the kind of team play would overcome the crazy fast pace show style of an All-Star game. It didn't seem to do much in the beginning. In fact at one point the West led the East by 21 points!
But in the third quarter, Flip entered the four Piston players and the game dynamic changed. The Pistons were outstanding and showed the world once again that team play is the way to win. The guys definately did us proud and played the game the only way they know how - play to win. Congratulations Piston All-Stars! Now let's go and win another championship!

They started out a little tenative (except Chauncey, who quickly nailed a 3 upon entering the game), but they settled down, and they did change the dynamics of the game in the east's favor. Well done, and way to rep the D!

The Pistons sure put in a great team effort, but don't forget the contributions the Cleveland area's own All-Star MVP LeBron James.
