I know that I'm not even married yet and I don't have any kids (that I know of), but watching the University of Michigan play Central Michigan reminded me that I have already picked out the best career for one of my future children (boy or girl). She or he will become a placekicker to kick fieldgoals and kick-offs. Sure the kid will start off playing soccer to learn how to kick, but we all know that regardless of how much I love soccer, there's no money in soccer unless you go to Europe. Then when the kid becomes a good kicker in the soccer-style sense, then she/he will get started on the weights (for the legs only) before joining the middle school football team. Exceptional high school placekicking peformance will lead to a spot on the OSU Buckeyes preferably, Placekicking can be stressful ,so the child will get yoga lessons to have ice cool nerves. Then in the pros, preferably at the Cleveland Browns. she or he will make lots of money, get coddled by the coaches with little chance for injury or brain damage and a long career can be had.
I'm an Ohio native so I'll be watching the Buckeyes play Texas, so let's hope the good guys win.
