Truly blessing another is an act in which only he whom blesses and god himself should take note. The proper question should not be “why must I sneeze to be blessed,” but “what have I done to deserve a blessing at all?"

Good point Aleks, but then what has anybody done to deserve a blessing? And if we're all God's children, then why doesn't God bless us all fairly and consistently? What is a blessing anyway? Is a blessing just some good wishes? It's amazing how my stupid quote can lead to so many philosophical questions.
